sincerely, it was a good stay for our annual christmas shopping trip. the staff was knowledgeable, offered wake up calls and ironing free of charge. the room was newly decorated and decent sized and the bathroom luxurious. our breakfast was extensive and warm with pancakes.

Extremely helpful staff, wonderful views of the castle and mountains, everything is second to none. The whole interior is nice and the rooms are well-equipped. Its location is magnificent - not very far from Cardiff city centre. The really nice restaurant is a nice plus. Would stay here again when I'm in Cardiff.

The only point of criticism is the relatively loud music at breakfast.

The bar area - there should have been a residents only bar area. People attending functions took up all the bar space and not enough room there for residents.

It was a unique base for sightseeing in Cardiff. Met decent and highly efficient staff at the Reception Desk.3. The location was fab, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Motorpoint Arena Cardiff.4. The hotel was in a very picturesque area, just off the local shopping area.

Air conditioning was insufficient in the whole hotel, no restful sleep possible, absolutely stuffy and too warm, although the air conditioning runs the whole day!
